Virginia Spring Beauty

The Virginia Spring Beauty is a flower the blooms (as its name might suggest) in the Spring. It prefers shade and is a native forest groundcover plant in the Eastern United States. Some sections of natural forest will turn into an entire field of these tiny flowers. Most of them are white, but they have small pink highlights and some individual flowers will show the pink stronger and will look more like a pink flower with some white highlights.
