While most of my photos are of natural subjects, I do occasionally find myself drawn to architecture. In the case of this photo, I was touring Jerusalem and my group sat down near the Temple Mount near the end of the day. I happened to notice that the sun was setting right behind a church and pulled out my camera. As I was snapping pictures, I lucked into a cloud in roughly the same size and shape of the church drifting behind it. The resulting lighting effect was phenomenal. I know nothing about this church or even which denomination it belongs to.
